With Salvatore Salamone and Franco Spena, Michele Lambo represents the nucleus of what is nowadays known as The Caltanissetta Group ( which has now been enriched b y the presence of Calogero Barba, Lillo Giuliana, Giuseppina Riggi, Agostino Tulumello) going from the publishing experiences of the sixties through the eighties with the reviews Il Foglio D’arte and Cartagini to the activities of the magazine of words and images Marcel Duchamp. The personal artistic activity of the artist becomes structured in cycles: Poesia postale (fragile poetry, urgent poetry, espresso poetry, etc.), L’araba poesia , poesia metropolitana (audiovisual experiments), repetita juvant (serializations of photographic writing). Since 1993 matter has become the central nucleus of his research: materoscritture shifts his production to the level of a strong ob jectivity through the use of wood and lead types. He has recently turned his attention to technowriting (videowriting) through the creation of videos and videosettings, among which “Liber”, after the book of the same title by Eugenio Miccini. “LIBER” was shown at the Mantova anthologic exhibition of the works of the great visual poet who died in 2007.
